Alison has a wide range of experience in legislative drafting, regulatory reform and public policy matters. She is a solicitor qualified in Queensland, Australia.

Before joining AS&H Clifford Chance, Alison worked as a consultant legislative counsel to the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority, whilst running her own consultancy firm based in Brussels.

Alison has extensive knowledge and experience drafting legislative instruments according to international best practice as well as experience across multiple jurisdictions of reviewing regulatory reform proposals, scrutiny of subordinate instruments and providing advice on statutory interpretation, constitutional and administrative law and other legislation-related matters.
